Aqueduct of Valens

The aqueduct was built by the Emperor Valens in about the A.D. 375 as part of water supply system.

Kalenderhane Mosque

The church was converted into a mosque by Fatih under the name Kalenderhane Mosque since it was used a tekke by Calender dervishes.

Boza

Boza is fermented wheat beverage. It is served with cinnamon and roasted chickpeas (Leblebi in Turkish), and is consumed mainly in the winter months.
